The Eltron P420 plastic card printer is extremely versatile. It is made for high volume printing of dual-sided plastic cards in colour. The P420’s sturdy, all metal enclosure houses a low maintenance print mechanism that includes self-cleaning card handling, high capacity ribbon system, two-line LCD control panel, and convenient card reject hopper.
Saving valuable printer ribbon, the reject hopper separates cards that fail encoding prior to printing. The printer's enclosure includes a viewing window to monitor the printing process without opening the unit. The transparent input and output hoppers give visual card capacity status.

The P420 is easy to load and use. Using easy to understand status and simple instructions, the operator control panel displays printer status and functions that guide the operator. Printer ribbon synchronization is automatic, which eliminates the need for operator intervention. A self-cleaning cartridge meticulously removes dust before printing to help eliminate card rejects due to dust contamination.
