Ordinary card printers can only print something the size of a credit card (85mm x 55mm), or on some models a double length credit card (170mm x 55mm). The Symeyo is available in an array of shelf sizes and can be printed in custom sizes should a user have the demand for something not in the range.

It is usual for a single store to have need for up to 3 different sizes. Harrods Food Hall has 5 different sizes of each Symeyo printer. Symeyo offers flexibility that other card printers simply cannot. Perhaps more importantly, not being restrained by a fixed size helps compliance.

As more and more regulations are proposed around allergens, nutrition info, traceability, etc., a small credit card sized sign is left with little to no room for branding/logos, product info or price info on a fully compliant sign.

Each Symeyo printer is completely equipped with USB, Serial, and Parallel interfaces and is a network printer, all as standard.
